Echoes of the Chapter
Our General Chapter is taking place in Rome from May 15 to June 12, 2022: 41 sisters gathered to listen to the Lord, to listen to what he wants for our world and for our Congregation today.
Opening celebration on May 15th: 41 sisters from around the world were called by their name by Sr Patricia Byrne, Superior General. Each one responded in her native language: “Here I am!”

On May 16th, the capitulants, that is the sisters delegates to the Chapter, were invited to enter the life of these different Region/Provinces* through each of their chosen gospel passages, which was represented by a 3-D icon.
On May 17th, the capitulants continued their journey through the Congregation by means of the 3D icons.
They visited the Provinces of Madagascar and Europe-Togo. The encounters with the reality and spiritual experience of the provinces were rich, profound and a source of real joy for the whole Body, that is the Congregation.
* The Congregation is divided into several geographical areas, Provinces and one Region.
