Judy

Judy is my name, I am married to Stephen for 42 years, I have four sons living at home and three daughters living abroad. This allows me the opportunity to travel the USA and Australia. I have nine grandchildren. I have been involved with Cenacle for 18 years, my second family for which I am very grateful.

When did you first become aware that you had a call to deepen your spiritual life?

After more than 20 years of rearing my family I needed some spiritual nurturing

Why did you choose the Cenacle Companions?

I was invited to do a Myers/Briggs workshop and had my eyes opened and decided to hang out with this crowd!

What is the best thing about being a Cenacle Companion?

Being with like-minded, supportive and non-judgemental women.

What do you find most difficult?

Volunteering to lead one of our meetings.

What is most rewarding?

Faith sharing, discovering new slants and ideas, what is important and what can be discarded.

What is most challenging?

Gaining and explaining succinctly thoughts on reflections.

What supports you as a Cenacle Companion?

Love, compassion, confidentiality, and tolerance shown to each other.

Giving advice is always a bit risky, however what is the best bit you have been given?

Do unto others as you would have them do to you.
