ADAPTATION! For each one of us, it is impossible to do otherwise if we want to resist the virus and continue to move forward in life.
The Toulouse community, based in France, is no exception to this motto: the sisters are adapting their activities and have become familiar with Skype, Zoom and other virtual means of communication.
Technological tools allow us to stay in touch with those we can no longer see “in real life”. The week of 18 January 2021, for example, an appointment was made with the young people who took part in the WYD in Panama to “celebrate” two years of friendship: coming from all over France, they met for an evening, virtually, to share a slice of life, to rejoice in the good news and to support each other in the more difficult moments.
It’s good that this is possible but we can’t wait to meet again!
The mission of the Sisters of the Cenacle is to accompany children, students and young professionals in many ways in their different choices and their desire to give meaning to their lives.
