Hello, Sister Nathalie, but what are you doing here in Rome? Why aren’t you in Kremlin-Bicêtre, where you usually live? What have you come here to do?

Assembly of Cenacle sisters in Rome 2

I’m here with about forty of my Cenacle sisters from Ireland, England, France, Italy and even Togo and elsewhere, to share our way of seeing the mission for our world today, to deepen or even rediscover our DNA as Cenacle sisters.

This morning’s reunion gives a joyful colour to what is going to be this provincial assembly.

What is a provincial assembly?

It’s a time for working together, from different countries, to develop an aspect of our life. This assembly is placed under the sign of Hope, with the passage through “our” Holy Door as the opening of our 4 days of work. Here we are, pilgrims on the march, rediscovering what grounds us and holds us together, in our diversity, united in the service of Christ and the world in which we are planted.

I’ll tell you more tomorrow!
