🌿 Assembly of Cenacle sisters in Rome – D4

– Hello Sr Nathalie, you made me a promise: to tell me about your last day at the assembly…
– Good morning! Yes, of course, I’m so happy to be able to tell you what is Good, Beautiful and Well… Our assembly is well and truly over. But in fact everything still remains to be done, as is often the case when we are working on God’s work! … We have cleared some paths and now we have to take these paths that can be seen in the heart of our forest. We’ve noted a number of themes that seemed to recur in many of the talks we heard from our friends and collaborators in the Cenacle, in one way or another. It’s up to us to see where all this will lead us!

– But what are these projects you want to undertake? Can you tell us about them?
– It’s always tricky to talk about work before it’s done, because we don’t know in advance what form it’s going to take… But these areas of work will be based on a major event that we’ll be celebrating in 2026: the bicentenary of the founding of the congregation. And you are all invited to this huge celebration, which will last a year and take place all over the world!

– 200 years! But you’re not celebrating!

– That’s true, because the charism of our Congregation is based on Christ, who doesn’t grow old either … the Gospel is as fresh and energising as ever … And you’ll see what we’re made of, what our DNA is, in the months to come! Stay tuned to our website and our various social networking pages … 2026 will be a year of fire with Cenacle sisters around the world!

– And that’s how you left it?
– Oh no, of course not! We celebrated the day’s mass, simply and with great joy, and that joy took on an even greater hue when we got together for a no-fuss pizza-ice-cream dinner and an evening of festivities with sketches, games and dances… once again revealing the talents of each of us… a real joy!

– A great promise for 2026! I can’t wait!
