Community of Lyon Fourviere

Lyon Fourviere ‘the hill which prays’ as it is appropriately named, where thousands of pilgrims come to the basilica up there to entrust themselves to the intercession of Mary or to the light of the Lord. They probably do not know that in that great yellow house, next to the Basilica, there is a community of Cenacle Sisters who pray for them and for the world.

They benefit from an EHPAD (Residential facility for the dependent elderly) also available for lay people and sisters from other congregations. Surrounded by professionals who care for them and some active sisters who provide the sisterly care they need, they keep their hearts open to the needs of their contemporaries and of the congregation. Moreover, they love to welcome the Sisters and people who want to visit the house where Mother Therese lived out her final years.
