This great gathering, which is expected every three years, has as its theme: “Sowing hope in a changing world”.

UISG Plenary Assembly – Rome, 5-9 May 2025

In a global context marked by multiple crises—social, ecological, migratory, ecclesial—this Assembly is an opportunity to reflect together on the appeals of the Spirit for today’s religious life and for the future of the Church.

Sister Véronique Fabre, Superior General of the Congregation of Our Lady of the Cenacle, participates in this meeting. Elected in June 2022, with her experience as Provincial Superior for Europe-Togo, Sister Véronique represents the commitment of the congregation to respond to current challenges in a spirit of listening, discernment and collaboration.

A rich and forward-looking program

The Assembly will alternate conferences, thematic workshops, language group sharing and community prayer time. The main themes are:

  • synodality as a way of living the mission,
  • Interculturality as a wealth and challenge
  • Commitment to social justice and protection of creation.

We will soon deliver the conclusions of this plenary assembly.
