Perpetual vows of our sisters in Madagascar
This spring, you were able to follow the pilgrimage of our tertians. After Sister Cécile in France and Sister Selcineide in Brazil, it was finally the turn of our sisters Josiane, Rollande, and Noro to make their perpetual vows in their home country, Madagascar.
Sisters Noro Claudine, Selcineide, Rollande, Cécile et Josiane
The final profession of our three sisters — Josiane RAHARINIRINA, Rollande RAVOLOLONIRINA, and Noro Claudine LALAMANANDRAIBE — took place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Saint Peter’s Church in Ambohipo, Antananarivo.
The celebration occurred during the second Sunday parish Mass. In addition to parishioners, many gathered for the occasion: the families and friends of our sisters, the Sisters of the Cenacle, members of the Cenacle family, priests, and religious from other congregations.
The Provincial, Sister Alphonsine, received the perpetual vows on behalf of our Superior General, Sister Véronique Fabre, who was not present in Madagascar but followed the celebration online.
At the end of the Mass, Sister Alphonsine announced the communities to which each sister is now missioned.
- Marie Josiane will join the novitiate community in Ambohipo and begin her studies at the Catholic University of Madagascar.
- Norosoa Claudine will strengthen the community in Fianarantsoa and will serve as a spiritual animator at the Jesuit Saint Francis Xavier College.
- Volatiana Rollande will take on the role of bursar in the Sainte Elisabeth community in Soavimbahoaka.
This celebration was a moment of great joy for everyone — families, friends, and our whole congregation!
